Soluna combines Sol (sun) and Luna (moon), representing two different elements coming together.
The idea came from something I personally struggled with: the unwritten fashion rule that gold and silver shouldn't be mixed. I wanted to challenge that by creating handmade jewelry that combines both.
After pitching my idea during my Entrepreneurship minor, two other students joined me, and together we turned Soluna into an officially registered business.

I took the lead on everything visual. From designing the logo and choosing the colors and typography to building the website and creating Instagram content, I developed Soluna's visual identity from scratch.
I also conducted A/B tests to validate design decisions and helped organize brand photoshoots, where I discovered how much I enjoy photography.
One of the biggest challenges was creating a recognizable brand identity while building a business with three different perspectives.
We had to make decisions together, balance our ideas and find a visual direction that truly represented Soluna. It wasn't always easy, but that made the process even more valuable.

The design process involved a lot of sketching, testing and starting over.
I explored different logo concepts, tested designs with our target audience and collected feedback from lecturers. Sometimes that meant going back to the drawing board again and again.
Step by step, I developed a consistent visual identity that we could apply across our website, social media and brand photography.

Soluna became a real, officially registered jewelry business with its own website, social media presence and recognizable visual identity.
Although we eventually decided to close the company as our study paths went in different directions, I'm still proud of what we created together.
What started as my idea became something real.
Soluna taught me much more than just branding. I learned what it takes to build a business, work as a team and make design decisions based on feedback instead of just personal preference.
It also pushed me to explore new creative skills, especially photography.
Most importantly, I discovered how much I enjoy building a brand from the very beginning and seeing my own ideas come to life.
